So my co-manager of IT for the three properties in my area left yesterday – on to bigger and brighter things. I wish him well and all, but with money as tight as it is lately, I’m not completely sure they’ll fill his position. If they don’t, then I get stuck with a lot of the things that he previously did as part of his position. Not only do I really not want to add those responsiblities onto my plate, I don’t think I can actually accomplish his tasks plus mine. How does the company reward me for getting stuck with his duties?
By taking 5% of my salary back and halting all 401k contributions. Superfun.
