1. Crazy ass parents who drive the wrong way down a street just so they can cut you off so they don’t have to wait in line to take their little snowflake into school for the first day. I waited, patiently, for 15 minutes in the lane to get into the school, I even got there EARLY so that I could walk my son in for his first day of first grade. However, due to a bunch of uppity assholes who parked their gigantic SUV’s everywhere EXCEPT in the appropriate parking spaces, there was ZERO space for me to park. Instead, I had to drop him off at the door, which isn’t a huge tragedy, but due to people driving like assholes, I was worried he was going to get run over.
2. Being underappreciated. No need to elaborate on this one.
3. Employees who feel the need to outright lie to me. I had one person argue with me today because I’m pointing him for calling out ten minutes AFTER he was supposed to be on shift. His answer? “I didn’t know I was supposed to be there at 6”. I’m sorry, what? That is YOUR SCHEDULE. WHAT THE CRAP. Some days I really don’t know if I’m cut out to be a manager.
There’s more but I’m out of time.
