Just in the nick of time!

I almost forgot to blog today!  The prompt from NaBloPoMo is:

If you could go back in time and meet your 16-year-old self, what three things would you tell yourself?

Yowza – this one’s a loaded question.

1 – All those bitches in high school that pick apart your clothes and your weight and your hair?  They never, ever grow out of that.  Endure it, Ignore it, and tell them to fuck off as often as necessary.

2 – Confidence is everything.  Believe what you say, and others will too.  Stop doubting yourself!

3 – Start learning to love yourself.  You are you, and that is all you need to be.  Love often and passionately, and take care to nurture the relationships/friendships that matter.

For our daily picture – it’s one of my “must haves” of late – a mirror and a little wire brush thingie to help clean my braces.  Can’t leave home without these suckers anymore!
