Episode 50 – Hateful Cows

Laura & Leslie show their WIPs and FO’s, and show a few more prizes for the 1 year anniversary giveaway. Laura reviews Charts Made Easy by J.C. Briar and we talk about upcoming travel!

Laura is knitting on the second sleeve of  Washington Square out of some New Zealand stash yarn.    She is also knitting some plain stockinette socks out of Mini Mochi (I refuse to link this yarn). The Shetland Pi shawl has been resurected.  It is out of Blackberry Ridge Silk Blend Laceweight (I really enjoy how rustic feeling this yarn is). I also have on the needles are the Twisted Fiber Arts in the Ravelry colorway socks.  The baby hat is the Rainbow Marley from Itty Bitty Hats out of scraps of handspun is to the decrease section.  Love this for using up little scraps of yarns!

Leslie has secret knitting and test knitting for Numma Numma

Leslie is blocked the Pogona shawl out of Wollmeise in Bluebell.

Laura has finished the Ishbel shawl out of Casbah!  Yay!  Starving Musician hats are out of Squishy Aran in Violet Fields by Another Crafty Girl (LOVE this yarn!) and a hand dyed by me Kraemer Shirley yarn.

Laura has spun half of a batt from Sarah Kate Fibers (They sell handspun yarn for those of you lokking for some). She has also been spinning some Polwarth fiber from Crown Mountain Farms. If you have any pattern suggestions for the finished Polwarth, please leave a comment!

Charts Made Simple by J. C. Briar. LOVE this book!
