Episode 109 – Don’t Panic

This week’s show is a long one, but please watch til the end for an important announcement.

Laura has cast on a pair of Socks on a Plane (pattern coming soon) on size 1.5 needles out of  Barking Dogs Yarns in her Opposites Attract base.  The colorway is Darcy and Elizabeth.  She has frogged another pair of Socks on a Plane out of Dyeabolical Yarn in the Scratch Art colorway (old base).  She has also worked on the shawl she is designing using Unwind Yarn Company.

Leslie is knitting on a Thin Ice Shawl out of 800 yards of Hanspun (Miss Babs and Fiber Optic plyed together for 800 yards)  She has also made wonderful progress on the Pomme de pin Cardigan by Amy Christophers out of Berroco Vintage dk.  She is knitting it on size 6 and 7 needles.

Laura has finished a pair of afterthought heel socks out of Friday Studio Yarn  on size 1.5 needles. She has also finished a Windschief (pattern by Stephen West) out of some handspun (Loop Batt-140 yards N-ply in a worsted weight) on size 6 and 7 needles.

Laura has finished a Loop Batt in the Salty Rose colorway.  It was 4.8 ounces and she got 468 yards of an N-ply yarn. She also finished her Black Bunny Fibers Masham (90 yards).  She is also spinning on her new Bosworth.  It is Llama, Mohair, BFL from Autumn House Farms.

Leslie is spinning some Tempted Yarns in her Cashmere base that Stacy helped Carin of Round the Twist dyed.
