Laura is knitting on some plain afterthought heel socks out of Vesper Gemstone on size 1 (2.25) needles. She is also knitting on 50 row shawlette by Susan Anderson. She is knitting it out of Spunky Eclectic Corridale in the Rosebud colorway on size 10 needles. She has also cast on Glitz at the Ritz by Helen Stewart using Made in America yarns Wayfarer and size 6 needles
Leslie is working on her mish mash handspun Knitting Olympics project. Basic pattern is ShellSeeker, color blending used follows the Less is More cardigan, and a split collar added on a whim and out of my brain.
Leslie has finished nothing this week.
Laura has spun some Moonshine batts in the Frankenstein’s Monster.
Leslie has finished spinning all the fibers for the Knitting Olympics sweater she’s making. The colors are “Don’t Blink” in BFL (color 1), “Godswood” in Polwarth (color 2), and “Take It To The Bridge” (color 3) in Superwash Merino, “Children of Time” in Superwash Merino (color 4), “Rhinebeck” in BFL (color 5), and “End of Innocence” in Superwash BFL (color 6. All are Into the Whirled Fiber.
