Episode 218 – Georgia On My Mind


Laura is  knitting on a pair of Halloween socks out of Another Crafty Girl in Halloween Town. Leslie is knitting on Eased (bulky version) by Alicia Plummer with Berocco Remix in color 3960, and Tric by Asa Tricosa in Highland Handmades Butternut DK in the Teal colorway.  She is also working on her design for Infinite Twist out of Halo Heather in the dragon colorway. Laura finished her 3rd Camp Loopy Project, Every Last Yard out of Tosh DK in the Medieval colorway on size 7 needles.  She also finished a pair of  Mukluk slippers out of Three Waters Farm handspun in the Positive Outlook and Cascade 220.  They were huge (gauge is key) but felted down nicely.  She used size 9 needles.  Lastbut not least, she finished a Gladys dishcloth from the book, The Dishcloth Diva Knits On using dishcloth cotton on size 7 needles. Leslie started and finished two quick projects: Split back Snowflake Cap by Susan B Anderson out of Tempting Ewe Yarns “Ewe So Wooly” base in the Grey Goose colorway and Sweet Georgia Yarns Trinity Worsted in the Wisteria Colorway, and Simple Herringbone Mitts by Katraka Metz out of Hazelknits Cadence in Sassafrass and Aventurine. Laura finished the singles for her Southern Cross Fibre in the Funhouse colorway.  She is in the middle of plying it now.
