Episode 228 – Fraternal Knitting

 

Laura is knitting on a pair of socks out of Dream in color Everlasting in the Wilderness colorway.  She is trying out some new needles, Knitter’s Pride Nova Platina.  She used the Balbriggan Heel from Sock Architecture.  She has also cast on the Yowza shawl out of some handspun from Crown Mountain Farms (out of business).  She has 550 yards and is using size 7 needles.

Leslie is knitting a pair of Atlantic Current Socks by Meliabella out of Leading Men Fiber Arts Spotlight in Toxic Gas.

Laura finished the Mukluk slippers out of Brown Sheep and has felted them.

Leslie finished the Simple Skyp socks in Caterpillar Green’s Concrete & Tulips colorway.  She knit a pair of Eugenia’s Mittens out of Invictus Yarns in the Captain SW base, Blustery colorway.  She is also knit a Wizzpopper shawl out of Shalimar Breathless DK in the Seaglass colorway.
