Laura is knitting on 2 color Beanie out of Checkheaton Australian Superfine Merino. She has also cast on the Irene Adler shawl by Kirsten Kapur out of WM lace in a we’re different colorway. Jackaroo back and fronts are done and the sleeves will be cast on this week.
Leslie is working on a pair of Vanilla Bean socks out of Fishknits strong heart base in the “After the Storm” colorway. She is also working on an Etherial Tank in Hazelknits Filigree lace Ruby Love colorway held double on a size 4/3.5mm needle.
Laura has plied the merino/angora blend from Rain’s Obsessive Stitchery. She got 372 yards of a 2-ply from 3oz.
Leslie finished a Tensfield hat by Martina Behm out of Fyberspates Vivacious DK in the Tweed Imp colorway on 4.5mm/US7 needles.
Leslie finished spinning 7oz of Spinning Straw Into Gold batts on the Hansen. Each 1oz is a different shade. She’s contemplating options for plying.

Leslie finished reading Hyperion by Dan Simmons, and has moved on to the second in the series: The Fall of Hyperion. She is now alternating between Academ’s Fury (2nd in the series) and The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer for audiobooks.
