Episode 262 – Jack My Fleece

Leslie is knitting on a CustomFit sweater out of Madelinetosh Sport in the William Morris Colorway.  She is also working on  Tric by Asa Tricosa in Highland Handmades Butternut DK in the Teal colorway but is at somewhat of an impasse.  She is swatching for several sweater possibilities in LMFA Copper Cloud.

 

Laura is knitting on  a pair of Rose City Rollers.  They are knit on Nova Platina DPNs in size 0 and are out of Knitterly Things Vesper yarn in the Rainbow Love colorway.  She is also finishing up a pair of afterthought heel socks out of Inspiration Dyeworks yarn (no longer in business)

 

Leslie has finished a pair of Bootstrap Socks by Lara Neel out of a Knitty & Color sock blank.  She also finished a kinda-Rikke hat in Green Mountain Spinnery wool.

 

Laura has finished Bell Isle out of Bamboo Pop.  It was knit on size 3 and size 5 needles.  She also finished her Flax out of Jojoland Tonic.  It was knit on size 6 and 8 needles.

 

Laura has spun 4oz of Falkland from Southern Cross Fibre in the Coorong colorway. She got 400 yards of a 2-ply. This was forever old stash that she got on a destash.

Laura has read the new Kate Daniels book by Ilona Andrews.  She is reading Reading in the Wild by Donalyn Miller for work.
