Leslie is knitting on a Rolling Rock in Hazelknits DK in the SSK 2015 colorway.  She is also working on some Mockery Socks out of Apothecary Yarns.

 

Laura  is knitting a pair of afterthought heel socks out of White Birch Fiber arts in the Purple Rain colorway on size 0 needles.  She has put in the numbers for Grace by Jane Richmond out of Plucky Feet in the Barn Door colorway.

 

Laura has finished knitting a Leafy washcloth for the Halloween CATT.  She knit it using size 7 needles and Sugar’n Cream in the Hot Green colorway.

Laura has finished spinning Hello Yarn fiber in the “so sick of musts” colorway.  The fiber content was Corriedale.  She got 605 yards of a fractal 2-ply.  his was both spun and plyed on the Mini Spinner.

Question from sockmom529, “I just started spinning this past year. I was at Maryland Sheep and Wool this year and looked at the fleeces, but didn’t take the plunge. Now, listening to you guys I regret not getting one. So…I was wondering if either one of you have bought a fleece online?

Also, how do you decide whether to card or comb a particular fleece?
