Episode 269 – Reboot the Internet

Leslie is working on a Mitered Crosses by Kay Gardiner, and was inspired by LouiseTilbrook’s version.  She’s also working on some plain socks out of Nomadic Yarns Rhinebeck Sweater Weather colorway in Twisty Sport on 2.75mm.

 

Laura  is knitting Grace by Jane Richmond out of Plucky Feet in the Barn Door colorway.  She is also knitting the Boo Knits mystery shawl out of Plucky laceweight.

Leslie finished a silly embroidery piece by House of Whimsy

Laura has finished  a pair of afterthought heel socks out of White Birch Fiber arts in the Purple Rain colorway on size 0 needles.  She has also finished   a Mini Water’s Edge for Alice out of Encore on size 7 needles.

Leslie has finished some pre-work for an ornament swap.

Laura has finished  up a SCF bond/silk spin.

Leslie is spinning lots of processed wool (currently cormo and coopworth) for Spinzilla.

Leslie has listened to Throne of Glass and is working through the sequel, Crown of midnight.  She has Canticle for Leibowitz up next.  She’s been sucked into the Cut & Run series which is a m/m contemporary romance and has downloaded Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson (Let’s Pretend This Never Happened).

Laura has finished reading The Revelation of Lousia May by Michaela MacColl, Baba Yaga’s Assistant, Lost in the Sun, and the Last Necromancer. She is finished reading Hired Girl by Laura Amy Schiltz.
