Episode 271 – Craft-cation

Episode 271

Leslie is working on plain stockinette socks in the RhineBeck Sweater Weather colorway of Nomadic Yarns Sport on 2.75mm.  She’s also been working on the Mitered Crosses squares in handspun.

Laura  is knitting Grace by Jane Richmond out of Plucky Feet in the Barn Door colorway.  She is also knitting on a pair of toe up socks out of Lollipop Yarn in the Beefcake base.  She also started a pair of top down socks out of Moonrover

Laura has finished a bluebird of happiness.  It was knit on size 2 needles using handspun leftovers.  She also designed Tesser for the Loopy Ewe October giftables club.  She is running a sale on Up and Out since it was her 50th pattern on Rav for 50% off with the code “fifty.”

“Hello from the land of OZ.

I would greatly appreciate a recommendation for a sock knitting book. I’m only just starting out knitting socks, but have been knitting on and off for many years. I have managed to knit a couple of pairs of socks by using only online resources (there is a lot of information out there).

Sock Architecture or Custom Socks (recently released I believe) are at the top of my list. Any recommendations or suggestions here?
