Question from Patricia Loves Yarn.

Hello lovely ladies, I have a question…I prefer hat patterns that are brim up, and socks that are knit top down, we all have our “thing” we like, right?! 🙂 When I see a hat pattern that is top down, is it ok to knit it brim up and just follow the pattern backwards? Mostly what I am questioning is if it is a cable pattern. And could you do the same with a sock pattern? ( knit it top down from a toe up pattern) Do people do this?

Thank you so much! I have learned a lot from watching your podcast and love it!!
