Episode 276 – Narwhals, Y’all



Leslie is still swatching for Recoleta out of Craftsy’s new yarn, Cloudborn in the Highland Worsted in Grey Heather.  She ripped out an old WIP and cast it back on as a Citron Grand.  She is just a couple of rows from finishing an Astellar ornament by Laura Nelkin.  She’s about to cast on some Pennycress socks with Socks Yeah! – both by Rachel Coopey/Coopknits.


Laura  is knitting Grace by Jane Richmond out of Plucky Feet in the Barn Door colorway. She has also started a new pair of socks on size 0s out of Karlos and Arne Regia series 1.  


Laura has finished  Orbit by Janina Kallio out of some Unwind handspun on size 8 needles.  


Leslie has finished a Quincy out of Shalimar Breathless Cush in Deep Lake, and a Pompeii hat out of Feel Good Yarn silverspun cotton.  She also finished another square for the Mitered Crosses blanket out of handspun.


Laura’s spinning a patchwork kit from Hello Yarn.   She has started plying a Shetland sweater spin on the S-R.  She has also been core spinning twinkle lights after watching the Jazz Turtle DVD, How to Spin Art Yarns
