Episode 284 – Three Takes

 

Leslie is  knitting a pair of plain socks out of a Gale’s Art Sock Blank and Winchester Plaid, Anti-Posession Mittens out of Brooklyn Tweed.  She also knit a Mitered Crosses square for her handspun blanket.

 

Laura  is knitting Behind the Sun by Cate Carter-Evans.  You can find the kits on Infinite Twist.  She is knitting it on size 8 needles.  She is knitting a pair of toe-up socks out of Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Zombody it’s cold outside.  She has added a garter stitch heel from the book, “Cool Socks, Warm Feet” by Lucy Neatby.  She has also worked on Love of Spiders by Melanie Berg.

 

Laura has finished 2 newborn sized baby hats out of leftovers and Marigold Jen.  

Leslie finished silly cross stitch for her work cube.  

Laura has been spinning some Wool Pierogi rolags for Eloise.

Leslie listened to The Atlantis Gene and is listening to The Atlantis Plague now.  She read Full Domain, Found (brides of Kindred 4), and is currently reading Recurve, first in the Elemental series by Shannon Meyer.

 

Laura is listening to the second Charley Davidson series.  She has been reading the Mythos Academy series by Jennifer Estep and the Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan.  She has also read Port Chicago 50 by Steve Sheinkin.
