Episode 289 – 13 Pentagons

 

Leslie is knitting a pair of socks from a Gale’s Art extreme sock blank.  She’s still working on a Shoop African Flower Sheep, rescued by Branwynne.  She’s working on some Pennycress socks with Socks Yeah! – both by Rachel Coopey/Coopknits.

 

Laura is knitting  a pair of toe up socks on size 0s (60 stitches) using Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Harold’s Purple Crayon colorway.  She has cast on the Owlet by Kate Davies.  She is using Knitpicks Brava.

 

Laura  has finished Love of Spiders by Melanie Berg. She has also finished a log cabin baby (Creativebug class) sweater using size 6 needles and handspun sw merino in the “puppy dog tails” colorway.  Leslie has finished nothing because she is a loser.

 

Laura has been spinning ITW in the Il Tramento in the Falkland base.  She is crazypants and has spun some thick and thin for coils.  The fiber she is using is Hello Yarn Falkland in the fairytale colorway.  She also spun Knit Spin Farm batts in the winter dawn colorway.

 

Book Review: Interpretations Vol.3 by Joji Locatelli and Veera Valimaki ($22.62 USD or 20 Euro)

 

Leslie finished listening to Paper Magician (free audible version with Kindle Unlimited) and the two sequels, Glass Magician and Master Magician.  She also read Beacon 23 by Hugh Howey and is reading Form & Function by Sara King – both free on Kindle Unlimited.  She is listening to Morning Star downloaded, which is the third in the Red Rising series.
