Laura is knitting the Jord vest by Chelsea Berkompas. It was swatched on size 11 needles out of Brooklyn Tweed Quarry. She also started a pair of socks out of String Theory colorworks for Marigold Jen.
Laura has finished a Caesious Curl by Hunter Hammersen. She is knitting it out of 440 yards of a 2 ply handspun out of Unwind Yarn Company fiber (combo spin).
Leslie has finished spinning a patchwork kit on the Majacraft Rose at Laura’s house.
Laura finished spinning Whisper by Hello Yarn which will be Feb’s patreon prize (350 yards of a 2 ply). She also finished March’s Patreon prize which is Southern Cross Fibre in the Fragonard colorway. It is South African Superfine Wool Top (400 yards of a 2 ply). She also plyed a KnitSpinFarm batt that had been waiting for plying since February (2 ply, woolen spun, 260 yards). She has started spinning the Hill District colorway from Hipstrings. This will be a 3 ply.
Leslie is re-listening to the Name of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.. She read the Earthrise series by MCA Hogarth, which was good if overly political.
Laura is listening to Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan.
