Episode 415 – Sixth Sweater Syndrome

 

Leslie is knitting on Pavement by Veera Valimaki out of 2 Guys Yarn in Tweedy Toes. She worked on the Hasukai cowl out of Brooklyn Tweed Plains in Treehouse and Uma  (#35 in my queue, since Aug 2012!) in Harrisville Nightshades in 12:57 colorway.  She also cast on a simple hat in a new base by Spotted Circus – a silk tube with alpaca and merino blown in.  She’s using the SYTK left leaning decrease by techknitter.

 

She has ripped out  the stormy sky shawl out of Miss Babs Keira.  She has also started the second Mini Sock Arms out of Leading Men Fiber Arts in the Prom Queen colorway.  She also started a worsted version out of Berroco Vintage

 

Laura finished a pair of toe up socks out of Fishknits in the Witch’s Brew colorway on size 0s.

 

Laura is spinning a PGH box from Hipstrings.  Each oz is around 100-124 yards. She also spun some 2 guys yarn company and Knit Spin Farm Corridale in the Glimpses of the Moon colorway.

 

Leslie is listening to Muse of Nightmares, the sequel to Strange the Dreamer, and the Charm of Magpies series. She’s reading the Blood Destiny series by Helen Harper.

 

Laura is relistening to Ilona Andrews Magic Bites.  She read Blackbird in the Reeds by Sam Burns.
