Episode 419 – Rainbow Bears

 

Leslie worked on Uma  (#35 in my queue, since Aug 2012!) in Harrisville Nightshades in 12:57 colorway. She is working on a pair of Vanilla Bean socks out of KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee base.

Laura has started a sock for her BIL out of Lolipop yarns in the Beefcake base.  The colorway is troublemaker and it is being knit on size one needles. She also started an Ice River Hat by Helen Stewart out of Malabrigo Mecha.  She is going to add one additional repeat and is knitting the size small on size 9 needles.  Laura also started a Orbit Shawl out of WM DK in the Limone colorway.  It is being knit on size 7 needles

Laura spun the singles for the November Patreon prize.  It will be a 3 ply out of Hello Yarn on Rambouillet in the Hover colorway

Leslie finished plying the KSF Plumage batts from October and got 516 yards of a 2ply.  She also thread/spiral plied some Knitty&Color Frabjous Day merino and got 244 yards.

Leslie is up to the fifth in the Rowan Harbor Series, Stag and the Ash by Sam Burns.  She listened to the first two books in the Guild Codex: Spellbound Series – Three Mages & a Margarita and Dark Arts & a Daquiri, both by Annette Marie and Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy.

Laura has finished 3 graphic novels this week including Witch’s boy and it’s sequel and All’s Faire
