Episode 450 – …Ply, Ply Again

Leslie is working on a Lounging Top by Joji Locatelli in Rock & String sport Toasted Marshmallow, an Inverleith by Ysolda Teague out of Ysolda’s Sedum, and an Il Grande Favorito by Isabell Kramer out of some local wool I bought in NJ.

Laura is knitting on a pair of toe up socks using Desert Vista Dyeworks in the color accents series.   She has been cranking tubes on her Circular Sock Machine (Erlbacher Gearheart Speedster).  She also is working on Stevie on size 6 needles using berroco remix in color 3991.  Laura is starting to swatch for Mount Pleasant out of Leading Men Fiber Arts yarn  She is going to use the newborn size of the Barley light pattern to test gauge.

Leslie finished knitting (then fixing the sleeves of) Weekender by Andrea Mowry out of Cloudborn Pima Cotton DK.  

Laura has finished a basic baby hat out of another crafty girl

Leslie spun 2 mini batts HipStrings and got ~530yds of a 2 ply.  It’s a little worse for wear after being plied in the wrong direction. (later fixed)

Laura is spinning happy happy thank you in bfl from Hello Yarn. She finished the singles and is now spinning some Knit spin farm battlings.

Leslie is re-reading the Night Circus.

Laura has picked up New Kid to read.
