Episode 459 – Let’s Not…and Say We Did Not

 

Leslie is knitting Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and working on a Mesa Sweater Wrap out of a Miss Babs color kit.  She’s also knitting on a sport weight sock out of KnitSpinFarm sport weight in the Apple Cider colorway and a Yoke O’Clock out of some leftover solids.  She’s also crocheting some granny squares for a Cherry Heart/Sandra Paul pattern called Giant Granny Patches.

Laura cast on a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.   She also is knitting on a sock using KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee Sport in the National Soup Month colorway on size 1 needles.  

Laura has finished the knitting on Quick Oats sweater in the newborn size.  She knit it on size 8 needles using Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Superwash Bulky in the Bamboo Heather colorway.

Leslie finished a ripple crochet blanket out of Caron Chunky cakes and a pair of sport weight socks out of KnitSpinFarm in the pizza colorway

Laura is currently spinning yak/merino blend from Ewephoric Fibers.

Leslie did not spin this week.

Leslie listened to Head On by John Scalzi (read by Wil Wheaton) and is currently listening to The Institute by Stephen King (read by Santino Fontana).

Laura is reading the young readers adaptation of Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.  She is listening to Dread Nation by Justina Ireland.
