Episode 461 – Hubris

 

Leslie is knitting Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and a sockhead hat out of Cat Sandwich Fibers in Willie Nillie.

Laura cast on a Spectrum shawl using some handspun cormo from Bumblebee Acres and some handspun from Hello Yarn.    It is being knit on size 4 needles. Laura cast on some toe up socks (Wendy Johnson method) using String Theory Colorworks Orbit in the Geosim colorway.  They are being knit on size 1 needles (2.25) using 52 stitches.

Laura finished socks using KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee Sport in the National Soup Month colorway on size 1 needles. She also finished on a flo bonnet out of the judgey rabbit colorway of Teeny Button Studio on her dk base.

Leslie finished nothing

Laura finished a chain ply yarn in the dried roses colorway (mixed bfl) it is 165 yards.  She is currently spinning a giant mash up project using Hello Yarn in various coloways on Rambo.

Leslie did not spin this week.

Leslie is listening to the Demigods of San Francisco series by KF Breene and reading Light My Fire (DragonKin 7) by GA Aiken

Laura is reading Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell. She is listening to Dread Nation by Justina Ireland.
