Episode 499 – Laura Loves A Metric

Leslie has been crocheting squares for a Cherry Heart/Sandra Paul pattern called Giant Granny Patches.  She’s also been working on Shadow Lines by Suzanne Sommer out of Triskelion Olwen Fine

Laura has been knitting on  a pair of Socks on a Plane using Long Dog Yarn.  These socks are magic looped on size 0s. 

Projects she is thinking about picking back up are a cowl out of Sealy MacWheely mini skeins and Ursa Minor 

Leslie finished about 50 crochet squares.  

Laura has finished a Bounce Blanket out of Neighborhood Fiber Co in Studio DK Belair and Shades of Turquoise. She did the car seat (smaller) size and has around 70 grams of the gradient kit left and 10 grams of the green (Belair). Laura is debating between Little Camaro and Little Forager

Leslie is listening to Awakened: Paragons by C. Steven Manley (sci-fi).  She has also discovered the wonder that is Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata. As for reading, she’s on book 4 of the High Court series by Megan Derr, The Mercenaries Silver Moon.

Laura has started Booked for Murder by R J Blain (adult).  

Favorite Things

Leslie has cut fabric for the Ophelia Overalls and will start the assembly process soon.  She’s also cutting fabric for the York Pinafore
