Ep517 – Six Months Into the Week

Leslie is working on a Petra Brioche Sweater in Wollmeise DK My Old Blue Jeans and putting heels & toes in cranked sock tubes.

 Laura has  been knitting on some toe up socks out of Nomadic Yarn Sport in Bad Guy.  She also resumed working on her McWheely cowl which is knit in the round.  She is also working on some Kirby Wirby socks out of a cranked tube.

Leslie finished a tube of 64 stitches on size 7 needles to use her Fully Spun Pride set in sport weight. She also did some visible mending.

Laura finished the knitting of the Wave of Change pullover out of Rowan Cotton Rope on size 9 needles.

Laura has been long drawing batts from Knit Spin Farm on her Matchless.  She is currently spinning Into the Whirled 70/30 SW BFL/Nylon in the Mirepox colorway on her Sparrow.  She has finished spinning the singles of the Spotted Circus Grey Stained Glass Merino and Firestar in tropical.  She plied a Christmas batt (150 yards of a 2-ply from 3oz)

Leslie did not spin this week.

Leslie is reading Shadow Of Doubt (Potentate of Atlanta) by Hailey Edwards (m/f urban fantasy) and relistening to the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews (m/f urban fantasy).

Laura has been listening to Ilona Andrew’s (adult m/f)  Diamond Fire. She read the board book, Baby Young Gifted and Black by Jamia Wilson and Andrea Pippins.  She also read the picture book, Unspeakable: The Tulsa Race Massacre by Carole Boston Weatherford and Floyd Cooper.
