She has started some socks, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knitty.com\/ISSUEsummer09\/PATTmermaid.php\">Mermaid Lagoon<\/a> out of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/yarns\/library\/madelinetosh-pashmina\">Madelintosh Pashmina<\/a> on size 2 (2.75 mm).<\/p>\n<p>Laura knitting on \u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/no-place-like-home\">\u201cNo Place Like Home Socks\u201d by the lovely Star Athena.<\/a> They are out of Wollmeise in the Pillars of Fire and size 1 (2.25) signature dpns in the 6 inch length. \u00a0Sharon saved her life by gifting her some String Theory Entanglement in Quasar for some plain socks on 1.5 (2.5 mm). I&#8217;m also designing a shawl called, Thin Ice, out of Tempted Good Grrl on size 6 needles. Laura is working on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/mitered-crosses-blanket--for-japan\">Mitered Crosses Blanket<\/a> out of Noro Silk Garden (colors 279, 252 and 87) and Cascade 220. They are knit on US size 6 needles (4mm).<\/p>\n<p>Laura is finished with afterthought heel socks out of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/anothercraftygirl\">Another Crafty Girl<\/a> in the Squirtle colorway, plain stockinette socks on 1.5 (2.5 mm). She has also finished some matching baby socks and an afghan square for her partner.
