We review Interweave Knits Winter 2011 and talk about an upcoming event.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/blip.tv\/play\/h5A_guCxfAA.html\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"720\" height=\"510\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Laura is knitting on a KGASS square out of Berroco Vintage on size 7 needles. \u00a0I cast on 56 stitches, am working a 6 stitch seed stitch border on either side and an 11 stitch repeat of Cat&#8217;s Paw in the middle. \u00a0She is also working on a pair of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/autumn-ablaze\">Autumn Ablaze<\/a> socks on size 1 (2.25) needles and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/yarns\/library\/abstract-fiber-supersock\">Abstract Fibers <\/a>Smith Rock colorway.<\/p>\n<p>Leslie\u00a0has cast on \u00a0some Single Malt Woolmeise 100% for the Make a Wish socks. She is using the pattern,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/bavarian-cable-socks\">Bavarian Cables<\/a>, by Wendy Johnson. \u00a0She is going to knit them on size 1 needles.<\/p>\n<p>Laura has finished Julia&#8217;s \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/holly-berry-stocking\">Holly Berry Stocking<\/a>\u00a0out of Vanna\u2019s Choice and Woolease. \u00a0She has also finished the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/in-threes-a-baby-cardigan\">In Three\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0baby cardigan for Alice out of Berroco Vintage on size 8s. Laura has recently published 2 new patterns. \u00a0The hat is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/fall-break-2\">Fall Break<\/a>. \u00a0The sample I showed was knit on size 7 needles out of 1 skein of Noro Silk Garden. \u00a0It was the 19 inch size. \u00a0The socks were the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/twice-if-i-like-it\">Twice If I Like It<\/a> pattern that was designed for the Tempted Yarn Club&#8217;s October shipment. \u00a0They used a skin of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/yarns\/library\/tempted-hand-painted-lil-luxe-grrl\"> Lil Luxe Grrl<\/a> on size 1 needles. \u00a0The pattern will be made to the public in fall of 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Laura has spun her Cloudlover in the Haunted Vineyard colorway. \u00a0She got 400 yards. She also spun and plied the Merino\/Alpaca blend from last week and got 160 yards of a 3-ply.<\/p>\n<p>Leslie has plied her\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/loop\">Loop batt \u00a0<\/a>from Carin! \u00a0She also spun and plied her Cloudlover Haunted Vineyard yarn.
