I&#8217;ve been practicing sporadically over the past couple of months and as of last night I finally got to the point where I figured out how to keep the thickness even  *Yay for pre-drafting*.    So, view the splendor that is my last bobbin of &#8220;practice&#8221; roving:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3259\/2470583517_9305d7b5b6.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not perfect, but acceptable.  Finally, I was ready to use something prettier and not feel like I&#8217;d be wasting it.  I decided to start with 2oz of a 60\/40 mix of Merino Wool\/Bamboo, and fell in love the moment I started treadling.  Happiness is a bamboo blend, I think.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2380\/2470583691_b54dbef7d6.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3234\/2470583775_548646e4e6.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I picked up this fiber from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop.php?user_id=5623248\">Capistrano Fiber Arts<\/a> on Etsy.  Love, love, love.
