{"id":1277,"date":"2012-01-23T00:39:02","date_gmt":"2012-01-23T05:39:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/?p=1277"},"modified":"2012-01-27T07:39:00","modified_gmt":"2012-01-27T12:39:00","slug":"episode-94-chastity-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/index.php\/2012\/01\/episode-94-chastity-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Episode 94 &#8211; Chastity Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/blip.tv\/play\/h5A_guixFgA.html?p=1\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"720\" height=\"510\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This is our 300th post on the blog! \u00a0Pretty darn cool!<\/p>\n<p>Leslie is knitting \u00a0on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/pole\">Pole<\/a>\u00a0out of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/yarns\/library\/berroco-bobolitm\">\u00a0Berroco Boboli<\/a>\u00a0on size 9 (5.5mm) needles. \u00a0She is also knitting on a pair of socks out of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.numma-numma.com\/\">Numma Numma<\/a>\u00a0for a happy on size 1.5 needles.<\/p>\n<p>Laura is knitting some afterthought heel socks on size 1.5 needles out of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/lollipopyarn\">Lollipop Yarns<\/a>\u00a0in the Bumble Bee colorway. \u00a0She has also started a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/shrug-bug\">Shrug Bug <\/a>out of some Cascade Magnum from the stash. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/laar\">\u00a0Laar<\/a> sweater will soon be on the needles on size 2 (3mm) and 4 needles and using Wollmeise Lace.<\/p>\n<p>Leslie has an old FO. \u00a0It is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/projects\/udontcallmeles\/tapestry-cowl\">tapestry cowl\u00a0<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Laura has finished \u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/trail-jacket\">Trail Jacket<\/a> (to be shown next week) out of Cascade Eco Wool and size 10.5 needles. \u00a0You can find more info about it on episode 58. \u00a0Hat I show is frostbite out of Cascade Eco Wool.<\/p>\n<p>Leslie has sewn a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prudentbaby.com\/2010\/07\/snappy-toddler-dress.html\">adorable baby dress.<\/a>\u00a0 She also has made some <a href=\"http:\/\/beingcreativetokeepmysanity.blogspot.com\/2010\/11\/homemade-laundry-soap.html\">laundry soap <\/a>and finished the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cottontailbabies.org\/2011\/01\/unpaper-towel-tutorial\/\">\u00a0Unpaper Towels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Laura has finished \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.threeewestwistedinfiber.com\/\">Three Ewes Twisted in Fiber<\/a>\u00a0in Turkish Delight (130 yards) She also shows off the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/gigglejelly\">\u00a0Giggle Jelly<\/a>\u00a0balls in the Apollo colorway \u00a0that she finished last week (403 yards). \u00a0She is spinning a \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/loop\">Loop batt\u00a0<\/a>on the bug. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0She is also spinning Crown Mountain Farms Superwash Merino in the Touch Me Colorway on the Lendrum.\u00a0 \u00a0Leslie has finished spinning on some\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dyeabolicalyarns.com\/\">Dyeabolical BFL (318 yards).<\/a>\u00a0 Tags are from Dawning Dreams. \u00a0Next up on Leslie&#8217;s Matchless is some <a href=\"http:\/\/temptedyarns.com\/\">Tempted Fiber Arts Cashmere blend<\/a>. \u00a0Next up on both Sidekicks is some Shetland.<\/p>\n<p>New Podcast: Whatcha Swatchin<\/p>\n<p>Book Review:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/0756686067\/?tag=thek04e-20\"> Lego Ideas Book<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Book Review: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhkcooperative.com\/CharlesCollection.shtml\">Charles Collection<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mitten for Me!
