Because of all the Holiday mayhem this week, Leslie and I are having a hard time getting our schedules to mesh. \u00a0So instead of the regular podcast, we’re going vintage (in terms of this site) and writing a blog post. \u00a0We figured this may tide you over until we get up an episode later in the week (plus it gives me a chance to play with my camera).<\/p>\n

We wanted to start out by giving away a skein of the lovely Pathways Sock from Lost City Knits<\/a>. \u00a0We had a contest thread in theknitgirllls group on Ravely<\/a> and over 200 people entered! \u00a0Here’s a picture of the lovely prize:<\/p>\n

\"Pathways<\/a>And the Random Number Generator selected number 64. \u00a0Number 64 is the wonderful Ermillina who posted the cutest pictures of silly time with her and her boys. Ermillina, please contact me on ravely (LaLa) with your address and I will mail out your prize!<\/p>\n

I’m also happy to announce that Chris and Denise of Lost City Knits<\/a> gave us a skein of their luscious Twin Canyon Fingering yarn in the Turbulence colorway to share with y’all. \u00a0Twin Canyon is a fingering weight yarn that has 500 yards with a content of 50%silk and 50% merino. \u00a0The sheen on it is gorgeous as is the feel.<\/p>\n
