{"id":178,"date":"2009-09-20T21:08:24","date_gmt":"2009-09-21T02:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/?p=178"},"modified":"2009-09-20T21:08:24","modified_gmt":"2009-09-21T02:08:24","slug":"purple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/theknitgirllls.com\/index.php\/2009\/09\/purple\/","title":{"rendered":"Purple"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m in the process of knitting several purple projects this weekend (I heart alliteration). \u00a0The first is a lovely top down bonnet that I finished for the soon to be born Sydney:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Sydneys Bonnet\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2464\/3937867987_bdbb01cb71.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I used some old Knitpicks Shine Sport in the Crocus colorway out of the stash. \u00a01 skein down 99 more to go&#8230; \u00a0The pattern is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/top-down-bonnet-with-anime-character\"> Top Down Bonnet with an Anime Character<\/a>. \u00a0It&#8217;s a very nice pattern and I knit the bonnet using 2 size 3 circular needles in less than 3 hours.<\/p>\n<p>I also have been working on my socks for the September KAL of Wendy Knit&#8217;s book on Ravelry. \u00a0I&#8217;m knitting Wendy&#8217;s Fan and Feather socks and am ready to turn the heel on the second sock. \u00a0I am hoping to finish them tomorrow sometime.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Fan and Feather Socks 1\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2508\/3938644172_8c25f83239.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Feather and Fan Socks 2\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3541\/3938643350_01b9a64e58.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The yarn is some Cherry Tree Hill I got at Hanks a few weeks ago. \u00a0I&#8217;m enjoying the pattern and the yarn, so these are going fast.<\/p>\n<p>Last but not least is a new shawl.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"K Shawl\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2509\/3937863709_887a9a07ef.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not real far into the process right now. \u00a0I&#8217;m using it as simple football knitting.
