Fair warning – this one had us pulling out our hair a little.\u00a0 My laptop is nearing the end of its’ life (working on a replacement) and it kept locking up.\u00a0 The content is all there, but there is a whining noise in some spots and it’s broken down a bit more than usual.<\/p>\n

Laura is kinda working on the silk kerchief <\/a>which no longer has a pattern but she’s going to wing it based on her quasi notes. She also knits on her Penelope<\/a> out of Cascade 220 when she watches Round the Twist.<\/p>\n

Leslie is working on a dishcloth (she’s boring like that).<\/p>\n

Laura has finished her BFL Mitts out of Fleece Artist Blue face Leicester Aran<\/a>. \u00a0She used the Rustic SIlk Mitts<\/a> pattern. \u00a0She also finished her Vesper Socks out the the Muddy Waters colorway.<\/a><\/p>\n

Leslie has finished her Vesper socks out of the wildberry colorway. \u00a0She is anal about her striping and did an after-thought heel to keep the striping in sequence. \u00a0She also finished a Penelope<\/a> out of handspun<\/a> (cough <\/em>overachiever cough<\/em>). \u00a0You can find more cool Rebecca Danger patterns on her blog.<\/a><\/p>\n

We went to Atlanta and found a decent hotel. \u00a0You can see my post below for lots of details on the whole trip. But the real highlight of the trip was hanging out with Allen from Numma Numma<\/a>. \u00a0You can find lots out about Numma Numma (including when she updates) on her ravelry group.<\/a> Thank you Allen for hanging with us! \u00a0We heart you!<\/p>\n

We went to Knitch yarn<\/a> shop in Atlanta. \u00a0Laura, Leslie, and Allen all got some Sheep to Shoe<\/a> kits and Laura got some Gale’s Fiber Arts<\/a><\/p>\n

We’re both watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. \u00a0It’s on instant viewing \u00a0on Netflix.<\/a><\/p>\n

Laura wants to form\/be in her own Glee Flash Mob.<\/a><\/p>\n

We got Ravelry bags<\/a>, they are super cute.<\/p>\n

Laura has no spinning. \u00a0She’s still working on some Twisted fiber<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leslie has put the high-speed bobbins and whorl on the wheel. \u00a0She’s spinning lace singles out of Vesper fiber.<\/a><\/p>\n

Leslie is curious about the Master Knitting program. \u00a0Laura is not.<\/p>\n

Arkansas Fiber Extravaganza<\/a>! There are still rooms and it is awesome!<\/p>\n

We’re doing a knitalong<\/a> with the wonderful Wendyknit’s <\/a>book, Socks for Everybody<\/a>. We will be knitting the Norwegian Rose pattern. \u00a0Leslie has not made up her mind what she is going to knit it out of. \u00a0Laura is going to knit her’s out of Dream in Color Smooshy.<\/a> Her colors are Happy Forest and Gothic Rose.<\/p>\n

Leslie is going to swatch and Laura is not. Jared Flood <\/a>is a master of swatching. \u00a0We loved taking his classes at fling.<\/p>\n

Laura is awesome and has the shirt<\/a> to prove it!<\/p>\n
