It’s episode 17! \u00a0I was shocked to realize that we’ve been doing this for over 3 months now.<\/p>\n

Also, we had way too much fun at Tempted Estates. \u00a0Thank you again Bob, Stacy, and Emily for having us.<\/p>\n

Laura WIPs:<\/p>\n

New pair of toe up socks with gusset heel out of Ashabee Fiber Oasis in her bamboo\/merino\/nylon base. \u00a0The colorway name is Eclipse and I bought it in 2007 as one of my first etsy purchases. \u00a0I also got lots of cool stuff from Fearless Fibers<\/a> and Dyeabolical Yarns<\/a> back then (I really need to knit that stuff up and buy more of their wonderful yarns).<\/p>\n

Log Cabin out of Cotton Classic (it’s even boring me at this point).<\/p>\n

Soon on the needles will be the Featherweight Cardi<\/a> (it’s a race Jessica!)<\/p>\n

Leslie’s WIP’s<\/p>\n

1×1 rib scarf out of hanspun Yarn Love \u00a0Marianne Roving in the Maiden colorway<\/a><\/p>\n

Noro Socks (plain from the top down with Eye of the Partridge heel)<\/p>\n

Laura is currently into a Steampunk as a genre and likes Soulless<\/a>. \u00a0I’m also interested in this<\/a> when it comes out.<\/p>\n

Twisted Fiber Arts<\/a> in the Unconditional colorway in the superwash BFL blend. \u00a0I love Wooly Wormhead<\/a> hats for handspun. 166 yards worsted in the end result.<\/div>\n
Giggle Jelly<\/a> in the Drops of Jupiter colorway. 300ish yards \u00a0It may become a 198 yards of Heaven shawl<\/a>. \u00a0I’m open to ideas, if someone has a better idea.<\/div>\n
I’m spinning some Poppy Fiber Flowers <\/a>in Fruit Stripe that mom got me for Christmas.<\/div>\n
Next up is Twisted Fiber Arts<\/a> in the Netherfield Lively.<\/div>\n
Leslie is spinning:<\/div>\n

CJ Kopec<\/a> and has divided it by color. Around 100 yards.<\/div>\n
Bonkers 50\/50 Merino Tencel Blend. \u00a0300 yards of sport-weight yarn.<\/div>\n
Tempted fiber <\/a>in her Merino\/Silk blend(TLE still has some in stock, I’m just sayin’) in the Teal We Meet. \u00a0444 yards total.<\/div>\n
Leslie also dyed lots of roving at Tempted Estates. \u00a0It came out sooooo nice. \u00a0The bases were from the Smoky Mountain Spinnery<\/a> and Hello Yarn<\/a>.<\/div>\n
Favorite Things:<\/div>\n
Hanging out with all the peeps at Tempted Estates. \u00a0Along the way we visited with Elabeth and lots of other cool people at Stringtown<\/a>. \u00a0We got some Nashua sock yarn, puppy snips, and Regia Handyed Effect.<\/div>\n
LaLa won a prize from the Socks from the Toe-up Knitalong from Tuscan Grove.<\/a> It’s very pretty and destined to become a Multanomah.<\/a><\/div>\n
We review the new Knitscene Magazine from Interweave Knits.<\/div>\n
MeganMME from plurk and Lynn sent Leslie some Hello Yarn Fiber (Lynn sent me some too). Thanks gals!<\/div>\n
We saw Charlaine Harris at the Hernando Library. \u00a0She was an excellent speaker and very funny. \u00a0Leslie has massive calves. \u00a0Strangers tell her so…<\/div>\n
Eloise gave me an awesome orange bag. \u00a0She is Dingledaisy on Ravelry. \u00a0I remembered it as soon as we stopped recording. \u00a0Really, I did.<\/div>\n
We’re going to Arkansas on Wednesay for a somewhat relaxing weekend.<\/div>\n
Also, the Arkaksas Fiber Arts Extravaganza is in December. \u00a0Y’all should go, all the cool people are doing it. \u00a0You can find info on the event here <\/a>and the lodge here<\/a>.<\/div>\n
