With only 2 weeks until Christmas, Laura & Leslie are powering through some gifts. Laura reviews 2 books and a magazine and Leslie shows off some goodies she got this week.<\/p>\n

Laura is knitting on Mittens for Wheezy out of Knitpicks Merino Style<\/a> from Never Knit a Man a Sweater<\/a>. \u00a0If you find my mojo, tell it to come back home please.<\/p>\n

Leslie is knitting on Nicoletta Socks<\/a> out of Perfect Day Yarns<\/a> in the Mermaid Tavern Colorway. \u00a0Side note: Perfect Day yarns is having a sale right now.<\/p>\n

Laura is done with Iris <\/a>in the Zombie Barbeque colorway, Matt’s Regia Socks, and the Noro Shawl.<\/p>\n

Leslie is done with Mittens in her own made up pattern out of yarn that I dyed. \u00a0The base was Shirley from Kraemer Yarns<\/a>. \u00a0She has also finished a Gloria Cowl out of Lisa Souza<\/a> in the Joseph’s Coat colorway of Max base.<\/p>\n

Laura is spinning the Pioneer Woman colorway of Lorna’s Laces Roving for Suzanne (Same Verse, the same as the first, a little bit louder and a little bit worse).<\/p>\n

Leslie is spinning some CLoudlover fiber for CP in the Merino base, ” Decay” colorway. \u00a0Don’t be fooled Lynn, It’s a race. \u00a0You may not know it, but it’s a race.<\/p>\n

Favorite Things:<\/p>\n

Knit Simple is a magazine. \u00a0It has cute things, but they won’t fit me. Sigh…<\/p>\n

I taught a fun dyeing class with Nichol (Bluegoosefarm on rav).<\/p>\n

Perfect Day Yarns is reopening her sock club. \u00a0You can find more info about it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beth1313 sent Leslie an awesome FOP package. \u00a0That soap is sooooo awesome. \u00a0The Fiber Optic Roving<\/a> is also very pretty.<\/p>\n

Never Knit Your Man a Sweate<\/a>r is a tad more conservative of the two “man” books. \u00a0It also has a creepy model. \u00a0Sweater sizes range from 38-50″ (not all patterns come in these sizes, these are the largest ranges of those listed). \u00a022 total projects are listed.<\/p>\n

Knitting With Balls.<\/a> This book is a little bit more trendy. \u00a0Sweater sizes range from 30-60″. \u00a022 total projects are included.<\/p>\n
