Laura is knitting on Diamond Gansey Socks<\/a> out of DK Knits<\/a>. \u00a0I’m about to start a KAL with Beck. \u00a0The pattern is the Hera Mountain Ridge Shawl<\/a> and I’m using Socks That Rock lightweight in Tidepool, Fire on the Mountain, and Lenore (I love how they look under the shownotes, totally different from what I see in real life).<\/p>\n

Leslie is knitting on Vesper Socks out of Vinca Vine. \u00a0Next on her needles will be Spot Check <\/a> for Jackie of KIPing it Real <\/a>(she has a retreat in April that looks very cool)<\/p>\n

Leslie is finished with Batik<\/a> out of Lynn’s Handspun (This would be perfect for TLE challenge)<\/a> and a baby sweater for Molly. \u00a0It is made out of F. Pea\u2019s\u00a0Mossy Jacket<\/a> in\u00a0of\u00a0Berroco Comfort<\/a>. \u00a0I got Endpaper Mitts<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Laura is finished with a multitude of projects. The first is the Yoked Cardigan<\/a> by Hannah Fettig. \u00a0It is knit out of some vintage Encore<\/a>. I also finished 2 pairs of socks. \u00a0A simple stockinette toe-up with gusset<\/a> out of Miss Babs<\/a> and Euclid’s Love<\/a> out of Perfect Day. Yarns<\/a>. \u00a0I also finished Wheezy’s Mittens (in time for Christmas) out of\u00a0Knitpicks Merino Style<\/a> from\u00a0Never Knit a Man a Sweater<\/a>. \u00a0The fifth thing I finished was a plurk KAL I had with Beck a few days before Christmas. \u00a0It is the Ganomy Hat<\/a> by Elizabeth Zimmerman. \u00a0Both Beck and I knit ours out of handspun. \u00a0Sixth on the FO parade was a Doldrums Co<\/a>wl out of Lorna’s Laces Swirl Chunky in Purple Club. \u00a0I’ll have the free pattern up on Ravelry by Wednesday (I need the weather to cooperate for pics). \u00a0Leslie’s Christmas present from me was a Herbivore<\/a> out of Apple Pie Yarn<\/a>. \u00a0I also knit some cute Handsies<\/a> and you can see pics on my project page<\/a> (along with my adorable niece).<\/p>\n

Laura has finished spinning the never-ending Lorna’s Laces fiber and is about to start some C. J. Kopec<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Star Athena’s <\/a>pattern club is very cool! \u00a0She also has a Mystery KAL going on right now!<\/p>\n

Perfect Day’s Dead Poet Club<\/a> has sold out!<\/p>\n

Laura’s goals for 2011 include stealing all of Leslie’s stash<\/del> designing 12 different patterns including 5 sock clubs and fitting the fiber and yarn back in the bins where they should fit (no feeding the stash!). \u00a0I joined the 11 shawls in 2011<\/a> and Year of the Stash Socks<\/a><\/p>\n

Leslie’s goals are to finish the master knitter program, knit 6 items from books that she already owns, and knit more (at least 4 times) using handspun.<\/p>\n
