Laura is knitting on\u00a0Washington Square<\/a> out of New Zealand Aran Wool from the stash. I’m also knitting Urbana<\/a> by Stephen West<\/a> for the Selfish Knits KAL. \u00a0It’s out of Malabrigo Rios<\/a> in the Archangel colorway. \u00a0Ishbel<\/a> is on the needles, but you can’t see it because I forgot it. \u00a0I’ve also cast on some socks out Twisted Fiber Arts <\/a>in the Ravelry colorway.<\/p>\n

Leslie is knitting on Slable<\/a> by Wolly Wormhead (my favorite hat designer). \u00a0She is knitting it out of Dragonfly Djinni<\/a> in “Blue Spruce.” \u00a0She is also knitting on some Master Knitter Swatches.<\/p>\n

Laura is done with Elphaba Mitts<\/a> out of String Theory <\/a>Duality in the Dark Matter colorway.<\/p>\n

Leslie is done with the Spot Check socks<\/a> out of Numma Numma<\/a> and Lime and Violet<\/a>. She also did some cross stitch from Subversive Cross-stitch.<\/a><\/p>\n

Leslie has had some progress with her spinning and I have finished “the batt that sheds” singles.<\/p>\n

I went to Shrek the musical as a daddy\/daughter date. It was really funny!<\/p>\n

I got a new book and Magazine. \u00a0Shetland Trader <\/a>by Gudrun Johnston is a wonderful little pattern book (Yay Indie Books!). I also got the new Knitscene. \u00a0There are quite a few patterns we like (sorry that my close ups are a little off).<\/p>\n

We love Knitting Without Tears and all Elizabeth Zimmerman books.<\/p>\n

We picked up some new stash at Loop in Tulsa, OK. \u00a0Leslie got some Madelintosh Pashmina in Turquose. \u00a0I got some Vintage Chunky by Berroco and Be Sweet Bamboo Taffy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
