She also started a new stripy sock out of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/theamyleeshow?ref=pr_shop_more\">Amy Lee Show’s <\/a>Canon Hand Dyed Yarn in the Arthur base in the “We are for the Night.”<\/p>\n<p>Leslie is knitting on Hitchhiker out of Wollmeise in the Am Kalten Polor colorway. She is also knitting a swap square out of the great American Afghan book out of Debbie Bliss Cashmere Aran yarn.<\/p>\n<p>FOs (starts around the 10 min mark):<\/p>\n<p>Leslie has finished the baby sweater from last week, but it is downstairs (her sister actually had the baby \u00a0earlier this week after we recorded).<\/p>\n<p>Secret knitting is reveled! The dead poet’s sock club came out this past week and the pattern is Lost in Light designed by me and out of the lovely bamboo haiku base of Perfect Day Yarns. \u00a0I have also finished a leaf fascinator using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/just-a-leaf\">Just a Leaf pattern.<\/a> She finished the plain stripey socks with an afterthought heel out of Three Ewes Twisted in Fiber in the Salt Water Taffy colorway on size 1 (2.25) needles.<\/p>\n<p>Spinning (starts around the 15 min mark):<\/p>\n<p>Laura has spun <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/galesart\">Gale’s Art 2-tone BFL fiber<\/a> on her<a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/trindleman\"> trindle.<\/a> (His shop is empty right now, but he will be back soon). I got 30 yards for less than an ounce. I did cheat and ply it on Leslie’s wheel. Next on the spindle is the roving balls from Sadie. On the mini trindle is a Buffalo\/Silk blend.
