Avoiding garbage bags on the highway (and other fun)

This weekend was an interesting one.

Laura almost killed me driving home Saturday night. I’m just sayin’.

I bought some cool swag from Ravelry (including the obligatory oh-so-Leslie “disagree(1)” shirt).

I learned a neat technique for picking up stitches in Lucy Neatby’s class on Saturday, and on Sunday we made these terribly atrocious socks (not to scale, obviously, we were learning techniques). You guess which is Laura’s and which is mine.

I did finish plying my handspun on Saturday night though. I’m pretty happy with how it came out. What do you think?
