I’m avoiding knitting work by spinning. Here’s some of what I finished up last Sunday. Above is some roving that I picked up at the Loopy Ewe a while back. If it looks familiar, Leslie also got some. I spun mine into 500 yards of fingering weight 2-ply. I also finished this:
It’s the July fiber from Spunky Eclectic’s club. The fiber is Romney (not one of my favorites and it shows) and the colorway is Eclipse. I ended up getting 100 yards out of the 4 ounces that were mine (mom stole the other half). It’s a sport-weight and I’m thinking about making a Calorimetry out of it. We’ll have to see.
