So I fell off the wagon

I had all these hopes of posting every day, and what happened?  What always happens?  Life gets in the way.

In this case, holiday knitting.  My list was a little shorter this year, or at least it started out that way.  I ended up with a quite a few items made, but most of them small things.  My favorite knitted item was Laura’s gift this year, which were Jack Sparrow’s Favorite Socks, made in Wollmeise Rittersporn & Digitessa.  I didn’t get super great photos of them, but here’s one:

Laura & Michael exchanged gifts, and oh how well they know each other.  Laura knitted Michael’s vodka  a scarf & hat (to match the one I made him for xmas), and Michael bought some Crystal Head vodka, removed the vodka, and filled it with Patron Silver, then dressed it up as a pirate.  I maintain that were I to die in a horrible accident, they’d end up together in the end.

I also spent some time with my family, which is a rare thing, trust me, and relented into having a photo taken of my with my thin, lovely sister, Nicki.

Also, I now have proof that my son & one of my very closest friends own the same pajamas.  Review:

My son, on a crappy webcam photo (sorry)

And my dear friend Jackie:

Lots of stuff has been going on, and hopefully I won’t be a slacker and I’ll actually post about it.  In the meantime, check out my swatch for the Argyle Vest I’m going to cast on for tomorrow!
