Perpetual Ketchup.

Ever feel like you spend most of your day just trying to catch up?

Today’s prompt from NaBloPoMo is:
You’ve just been given a million dollars. You are not allowed to keep it or give it to anyone you know personally. What do you do with it and why?

Many schemes of wire transfers and a new yarn shop dance through my mind, but ultimately, I’d choose a charity to donate it to. Since Memphis is home to St. Jude Children’s Hospital which is the top child cancer research center in the country, it would probably go there. As long as I didn’t have to actually visit the children’s cancer ward. Just thinking about that makes me so teary eyed I can’t see straight.

On to less sad things – a finished object! It’s crochet, not knit, and took 3 days from start to finish – maybe 10 hours at the very most? It is Walden, out of Curious Creek Fibers in Wasonga.

It is actually long enough to wrap and tie in the back:

And then, since I was upstairs anyway to photo the shawl, I decided to catch up on adding yarns to my stash. Here’s my setup:

And a closer view of the giant pile of stuff to work through:

Obviously, I do not have enough yarn. 😛
