Laura has knit on the Yowza shawl out of some handspun from Crown Mountain Farms (out of business).  She has 550 yards and is using size 7 needles. She has also cast on a new pair of socks of out Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Color Accents Lime colorway.  She is knitting these on size 1 (2.25) needles.  Laura has also cast on the Happy Happy Joy Joy hat by Melissa Stajda (Hey Hey Lady) on size 8 needles out of Gynx Merino Worsted in the Howl’s Castle colorway.

 

Leslie is knitting a Lucky Me cabled cardigan out of Beaverslide Dry Goods Spruce Heather on size US8/5.0 mm needles.

 

Laura has finished the Rikke hat, out of Invictus Yarns in the Unbowed DK base in “Etta”.

 

Leslie finished a second rag quilt.

 

Question from Aljones1954 How do you know where you should measure for the bust/chest. I hear some say at the widest point and others say right under the armpits. It makes a big difference in the size of the garment. Could explain why some sweaters are enormous when complete.
