Episode 235 – Totally Laura

 

Laura is knitting on the Strie Toeup socks from Knitting Architecture on size 1 (2.25 mm) needles,  She is using handspun from the lovely Showmeyourknits out of Moonrover sw merino/nylon blend.  She is swatching for the Skoodlet by Lee Meredith out of Misson Falls 1824 Wool on size 8 needles.

Leslie is knitting a Lucky Me cabled cardigan out of Beaverslide Dry Goods Spruce Heather on size US8/5.0 mm needles. She also cast on Pumpkin Ale out of Wollmeise DK in the Campari Piccolo colorway on US6/4.0mm needles. Knitmore Girls Grosgrain Ribbon Visual featurette.

Laura has finished the Gill’s Rock out of Cakewalk Yarns HD in the Heaven colorway.  She added some extra repeats to use almost all of the 420 yards of yarn.

 

Leslie finished nothing

Laura has also spun 2oz of Hello Yarn September club, Slumber.  This was spun on the lace flyer of the Mini Spinner.  She has also spun half of “Stop Following Me” by Squoosh.  She started spinning some Woolpierogi Rolka on an Akerworks lace flyer bobbin for the Hansen.

What we are reading:

Leslie restarted the Blood Song series on Audible.  She read Archer’s Voice (meh), Cinder (ok), tried to read The Thought Readers but gave up due to protagonist’s inner monologue, and started Division of the Marked (good so far).

Laura is reading Baseball Crazy by Nancy Mercado
