Question from wombatknitter,”When I was majorly into quilting, I could walk into a fabric store and know approximately how much yardage I wanted of a fabric based on experience. But for yarn, not so much. How do you determine how much you purchase when you see a yarn that you must have, but you don’t have a particular pattern in mind? Say, you know it might make a sweater at some point, or something that could be either socks or a shawl? Just some general guidelines. Thanks. :-)”
Leslie has read Vision in Silver (3rd in the Others series) and re-read Fortune’s Rising by Sara King.
Laura has reread Heart of Brass by Kate Cross
