Question from lifefulloflaugh, “I’m completely addicted to socks so I have a question about your sock knitting. What gauge do you typically knit your socks at? I’m sure this has probably been asked & answered before, but I’ve missed it if it was. A lot of times people will talk about what needle size they use, and that’s interesting, but what I’d really like to know is the gauge. I’m a pretty tight knitter, whereas some people tend to knit looser. Recently I’ve been knitting my socks on a US 1.5 (2.5 mm) and getting a gauge of about 9.5 stitches per inch. I’d love to hear what you usually get and with what size needles. Thanks! (By the way, I’m asking lots of podcasters because I’m curious about the answer & I don’t have much access to knitters in real life, lol!) :)”
