Episode 364 – Lower Threshold of Propriety

Leslie is knitting a simple pair of sport weight handmade socks with a German Strap Heel out of Gynx in the Abandoned Carnival colorway.  She’s also working on a silly cat embroidery piece from Hawthorn Handmade.

Laura is knitting the Evenstar shawl.  She is also working on a pair of HD Yarns striped socks using the Wendy Johnson Toe Up sock with Gusset.

Leslie finished a silly alpaca from Hawthorn Handmade.  

Laura has been processing and spinning a Shetland Fleece from Ross Farm Fibers.  She also finished the “Spaced Out” blend from Hipstrings 8oz yielded 250yds 2ply spun on the ladybug.  She also spun Knitty and Color sw merino in Super Fun – 75yds 2ply spun on the ladybug and Sun Valley Fibers Gone Fishin’ colorway in SW BFL into a Bulky weight 90yd chain ply on the ladybug.

Leslie listened to Earthcore.  She listened to Illuminae and Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.  She’s currently listening to Tower of Dawn.

Upcoming Events – John Mullarkey class 9/15 in Eureka Springs.  Fiber in the Boro Oct 21st. Laura will be teaching at the Magical Fiber Fantasy retreat in Orlando November 8th-12th. We are going to try to get into Plyaway in April 2018. Probably MDSW 2018 too.
