Episode 421 – Welcome 2019

Leslie worked on Uma  (#35 in my queue, since Aug 2012!) in Harrisville Nightshades in 12:57 colorway. She is working on a pair of Vanilla Bean socks out of KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee base.  She is going to be starting a Wrought Iron by Anna Johanna.

 

Laura is working in a pair of Wendyknits toe up socks out of desert vista Dyeworks in the Bedknobs and Broomsticks colorway. They are knit on size 0s. She also resumed working on her handspun evenstar. It is knit on size 3 needles using handspun out of Southern Cross Fibre

 

Laura finished a Ribbed Beanie by Woolly Wormhead out of Plucky Snug. She also finished a Milo out of Lost City Knits dk. She also finished a pair of old socks out of lollipop yarns.  She also finished Scintillation out of Another Crafty Girl Worsted in the Painter’s Pallet colorway.  These were knit on size 1 needles

 

Laura chain plyed some core spun yarn out of a batt from Dunn Spun.  She got 38 yards of a super bulky

Leslie is re-listening to the entire Throne Of Glass series since the final book Kingdom Of Ash was released in October (currently on Empire of Storms, #5).  She has read The Lost and the Chosen by Ivy Asher, a reverse Harem series and just started the follow up to Sin & Chocolate by K.F. Breene, Sin & Magic.

 

Laura is listening to Magic Strikes (Kate Daniels book 3) by Illona Andrews.  She is reading the second book in the Sin and Magic series by K.F. Breene
