Episode 453 – Hat of Many Needles



Leslie is working on a Lounging Top by Joji Locatelli in Rock & String sport Toasted Marshmallow,and  a ripple crochet blanket out of Caron Chunky cakes. She also is working on heels/toes for cranked tubes out of Uneek Urth yarns and the Il Grande Favorito by Isabell Kramer out of some NJ wool.

Laura is knitting on a pair of toe up socks using Desert Vista Dyeworks in the Zombody says Boo series.   She has been cranking tubes on her Circular Sock Machine (Erlbacher Gearheart Speedster).  She also is working on Stevie on size 6 needles using berroco remix in color 3991.  

Laura finished a baby bear hat out of Nashua Cilantro (cotton/polyester blend).  It was knit on size 6 needles

Laura finished spinning the natural cormo from Bumblebee Acres flock (270 yards of a 2-ply) and will use this to knit Spectrum by Joji.   She also finished  some “Charcoal and Maple“ from Three Waters Farm.  This is 485 yards of a 2-ply.

Leslie is spinning some wool/silk from Spotted Circus in the Ribbon Candy colorway.

Leslie is re-reading the Rowan Harbor series by Sam Burns.

Laura is reading Sapphire Flames by Ilona Andrews .  She finished Dead Voices by Katherine Arden.
