Episode 456 – It All Happens On The Weekend

Leslie is swatching for Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and working on a Mesa Sweater Wrap out of a Miss Babs color kit.

Laura cast on a new sock using KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee Sport in the National Soup Month colorway on size 1 needles.  She is also knitting a canyonlands by Nim Teasdale out of some Lorna’s Laces Handspun.

Laura finished a baby vertebrae in the newborn worsted weight size.  She knit this on size 4 needles out of Another Crafty Girl in the Pound Puppies colorway.

Leslie finished a pair of Dreamy Baby Booties and two Calming Baby knit hats, all out of Another Crafty Girl worsted in Painters Palette.

Laura finished some Corriedale on her Matchless wheel.  The fiber is from Hello Yarn in the Poison Apple colorway.  It is 495 yards of a 2-ply. It was plied on the Blackbird.   She also finished spinning some mixed bfl from Yarn Geek Fibers.  It is in the Curry Up colorway and is 130 yards of a 3-ply. It was spun on the lendrum and plied on the Blackbird.  She is currently spinning Into the Whirled Romney in the Life on Mars colorway. This is being spun on the matchless.


Leslie is spinning some 100th sheep in the “Deep,deep” colorway

Leslie is re-reading the Rowan Harbor series by Sam Burns and the GA Aiken Dragon Actually series.

Laura is reading the young readers adaptation of Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.  She is listening to Dread Nation by Justina Ireland.
