Episode 458 – Double Ripple

 

Leslie is knitting Poet out of Biches and Buches yarn and working on a Mesa Sweater Wrap out of a Miss Babs color kit.  She’s also knitting on a sport weight sock out of KnitSpinFarm sport weight in the Apple Cider colorway

Laura cast on a Quick Oats sweater in the newborn size.  She is knitting it on size 8 needles using Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Superwash Bulky in the Bamboo Heather colorway.  She also is knitting on a sock using KnitSpinFarm’s Targhee Sport in the National Soup Month colorway on size 1 needles.  

Laura has finished canyonlands by Nim Teasdale out of some Lorna’s Laces Handspun.

Leslie finished a ripple crochet blanket out of Caron Chunky cakes and a pair of sport weight socks out of KnitSpinFarm in the pizza colorway

Laura is currently spinning some heathered bfl from greenwood fiberworks in the paper roses colorway.  She finished spinning Into the Whirled Romney in the Life on Mars colorway (320 yards). This was spun on the matchless and plied on the mini spinner.

Leslie did not spin this week.

Leslie is re-reading the GA Aiken Dragon Actually series.

Laura is reading the young readers adaptation of Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.  She is listening to Dread Nation by Justina Ireland.
